Zagreb-based company Geofoto, one of the leading European companies in the field of Geodetics and Geoinformatics (photogrammetric, geoinformatics, cartographic and cadastral services), landed a job in Saudi Arabia worth 3.6 million dollars.

Their Government is hiring Geofoto to perform an aerial survey and create a topographic database of an area in the Saudi town of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast. They will begin their operations September 15th. The Saudi Government requires these area surveys, because they plan to award a concession to international and domestic investors, which is a step towards the sale of the property. In an international tender, Geofoto was chosen for the job over the Norwegian company Blom Group, a market leader in the field, and the German company Hansa Luftbild.
