The biggest internet company in the world, Google, is considering to open an office in Zagreb.

Poslovni Dnevnik was informed from sources close to the company that it already leased an office on the 9th floor of Eurotower. Google’s representative in Croatia, Hraben Suknaić, did not want to confirm this information, commenting that the company regularly informs the public of its plans and will also do so on this matter. We received a similar answer from Jerzyja Warchalowskog, Google Poland, representing the company at the WebMarket conference in Zagreb. Google started on strengthening its presence in Central and Eastern Europe in the last three years by opening their offices in Warsaw and Moscow. Presently, it has opened five offices, including offices in Prague and Budapest, with Croatia only having a representative.
