In cooperation with Privredna Banka Zagreb, the leading retail chain Konzum started a new payment service to their shoppers.

Their customers will be able to pay their bills at the Konzum retail stores. As a third party and in the coming months, Konzum will conduct transactions for PBZ. As the project developed, they decided to apply it throughout Croatia to 95 different stores in Zagreb, Varaždin, Rijeka, Osijek and Split. The shoppers will be able to pay certain credit card bills and telecommunication companies’ bills, Zagreb Holding bills and utility companies from Varaždin and Split. The bills carrying a 2D bar code and will have to be paid in cash with a 2 kn transaction surcharge, excluded only for the Zagreb holding bills. Konzum added that they intend to increase the amount of companies whose bills could be paid this way.
