Tomić & Co has eight days to change its decision and recertify the company Šimatić d.o.o. from Osijek as an authorized BMW maintenance (service) provider.

The Croatian Competition Protection Agency (AZTN) imposed this decision as an interim measure, after an investigation into the complaint by Šimatić, which concluded that Tomić did not have a contractual basis for rescinding the Osijek entrepreneur’s certification. The Agency has also begun an investigation into the contract between Tomić & Co. and the company Šimatić (“Basic Contract for the Sale of BMW Vehicles, Original BMW Spare Parts and Service”); Tomić & Co. is BMW’s licensed local importer and distributor of BMW vehicles. The final decision in this case is expected in the next 2-3 months.
